Pros and cons of Landscaper's Companion - Plant & Gardening Guide app for iPhone and iPad

Landscaper's Companion - Plant & Gardening Guide app good for

Température tolerances and Way of planting those trees arent in the App. Pictures could be a bit bigger.
Good information for the beginning gardener. Like the fact that it doesnt require wifi connection so you can take it with you to a garden store. Pictures are nice (some could be sharper). Disappointed that it wasnt as comprehensive as the name implies - especially considering the $9.99 price tag though obviously a lot of work went into it. It is nicely set up otherwise and easy to navigate. Maybe add a section for bog plants. Hard to imagine a water plant section without hornwort, water hyacinths, duckweed etc and other very basic aquatic ponding essentials. Hopefully additional free updates will soften this criticism.
Im a young landscaper and sometimes I have a hard time telling weeds from ground cover or herbs etc in the gardens I work in. A cool idea for this app would be to include a section for weeds and instead of growing tips, put tips on how to kill the weeds and keep them away! 5 stars if you work with my idea...
4 times out of 5 the app crashes when I try to view pictures of plants! Other than that, great app!
Its a fantastic app but they still have plants to add in and sometimes crashes but it has great information.
Very handy app. I would love to see a category on weeds also. Some categories need more pics. Needs more descriptive details.

Some bad moments

Its obvious that a lot of work went into this app, but the creators have dropped the ball in certain aspects. Aside from poor spelling mistakes ( in Chinese wisteria) , too many plants lack descriptions, dimensions (both height and width), and some pics have no common name listed! A lot of plants are duplicated with the info being the same but the colour is different. This makes scrolling very tedious. I think this could be an excellent app if these changes are made and I may change my rating according to improvements. At this point $10 is too expensive, and better spent on a landscape book with pics instead.
I thought that for $10 I would get tips on how to care for the plants, possible recipes for herbs, etc. Overall the app is pretty basic with information you can get from wiki with little added value. Dissapointing after reading the hype.
before we had all the pictures no need for conections and now needs to download all back again this is really not an upgrade! i didnt want to download the upgrade but i hit the button by error and regret it!!
App used to work great. After update pictures wont come up. Hoping they fix this problem!!!
I like the app, but get annoyed with the crashes. Also , some of the plant pics are wrong.
Way to limited to the point that it is useless as a working tool. Bad photos as well. Do not buy
